Lead Gameplay Programmer

We are proud to be working exclusively with a games company who have recently opened a new, second studio, in London.

Backed by the heavyweight, Tencent, they have been well established in Sweden producing high quality AAA titles with a team led by industry veterans from studios such as CCP, Playground and Wargaming.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Gameplay Programmer to come on board at a pivotal time in growing the business and work on both existing and a new IP.

This role is one where you can really take the reins and have real influence the future of both your own career and the studio. You’d be working with their new Tech Director to set the tone, team and future for everything Gameplay in this operation. The studio itself is a brand-new space in London’s Borough Market with the view to grow the existing team significantly over the next few years – so a very appealing time to get involved!

The role is currently remote, however would look to move in house in 2021.

The role & about you:

• You will lead on the gameplay for the studio and help build the team
• You will have worked on AAA titles
• Experience managing, mentoring and developing a team
• Highly proficient in C++ and Unreal Engine
• Experience with RPG and multiplayer titles
• Physics development experience is a bonus but not essential
