Are you a Multiplayer Designer? Do you want to own the whole Multiplayer element of a brand new AAA action title?

We're working with the leadership team of a well known multi-site AAA console studio who have recently set up a new location in Brighton, UK. They're ramping up this team who are working on an as yet unannounced console game, but given their previous titles we're positive this one will be just as good, if not even better.

The role is very focused on Multiplayer element of the game, you would be working with the Game Director and Lead Designers to make sure the multiplayer element is as big, enjoyable and player focused as the single player game. You will define the multiplayer design, review processes and foster a creative environment within the design team. This is a senior role, with a lot of responsibility.

To be considered for this role, we'd love to see:

  • Bonafide experience designing a recognisably excellent multiplayer element to a AAA console or PC title
  • Strong knowledge and in depth understanding of core multiplayer mechanics
  • Ideally a background in competitive feature design and level design
  • Confident yet empathetic communication style
  • Understanding of development processes
  • Someone who has a sense of fun, passion for games and is up for a challenge!

This role is based in Brighton, Full time. The studio is open to negotiation on salary and will fully relocate you and your family to Brighton if required. The benefits package is enviable and comprehensive. In real-life though, the leadership is encouraging, flexible and anti-crunch. They trust and expect trust in return. They are truly building an environment where something special can be created.
