Are you a Lead Programmer in video games, with interest in break-through VR gameplay and experiences?

Underpinned by decades of game dev from local and international AAA’s, you’ll work at the heart of a growing Engineering team, shaping the vision and technical capabilities of quality projects that span VR, AR and MR.

The studio welcomes the best and brightest minds that the games industry can offer – by proxy the role includes R+D - through pivotal and demonstrable VR Gameplay and Experiences, all backed by licensed, and household IPs scored in Unreal Engine, Unity and more.

Responsibilities;

• Work full production life cycles, rapidly prototyping and brainstorming solutions that can develop optimised systems and mechanics, plus stress test and debug;
• Be a beacon of innovation and Leadership – developing quality code for AI, Physics, Vehicles, Weapons and more;
• Ability to turn design ideas and creative documents into tangible technical development plans;
• Create efficient high quality and creative code, facing tough technical challenges as a team, head first;
• Team code review, mentoring lesser experienced developers of around 1-2 years; and
• Ship VR, AR and MR projects across multiple platforms and headsets – both current and upcoming tech.

Core Skills;

• Advanced C++ and C# Engineering, with best practice programming patterns, and maintainable clean code;
• Unity and Unreal Engine is ideal, though CryEngine, Lumbreyard and bespoke Engines are relevant;
• Multi-platform development across Console, VR, Mobile, Web; and
• 4+ proven years in games development
