We have partnered with an exciting indie developer who are undergoing a period of expansion and require a talented Lead Programmer to help create new features on current and new titles in the pipeline.   

The studio are better known for releasing fun, combat heavy, fast paced titles on PC platforms and were formed from a heavy AAA background, working with some of the best household games in the industry. 

The studio come with a great reputation of creating open world, sandbox experiences which appeal to a wide range of players. As the Lead Programmer you’ll be involved with the overall gameplay experience, such as developing easy to use mechanics for games which feature heavy customisation aspects.   

The team are looking for this person to be a core member of the team in developing new fun features to keep the user base consistent, you will also have a hand leading a team of 5 developers on existing and new projects and be responsible for their development as well as your own.  

This role would suit a generalist Programmer who is looking to lead a team, but also wants to stay hands on with developing systems to go into new games.  

Requirements 

At least 5 years’ experience in the games industry 
Released titles on PC or Console platforms 
Past experience of leading or mentoring/training teams
Experience with either C++ or C# and Unity 3D
