This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful animation/VR development studios. 

Amiqus have partnered exclusively with an established developer, based in Manchester, to help them with their search for a Lead Programmer to join their expanding VR team. 

Reporting directly to the Technical Director you will be responsible for defining best practice for the programming team.  

This studio have recently partnered with a global VR development company and are looking to continue on this upward trajectory by creating high quality VR titles for multiple platforms. As the Lead Programmer here you will lead by example, producing bespoke realtime solutions for VR games and occasionally mentoring and guiding the team below you to ensure technical excellence. You’ll work closely with designers and programmers to implement these solutions to create stunning, truly immersive VR experiences. 

We’re looking for real code wizards, someone with an ability to work from a brief and quickly understand how to manage your projects accordingly. Your background will be in Unity or UE4 and ideally from AAA games 

Requirements:

Demonstrable AAA games programming experience
Excellent C#,C++, Blueprints knowledge
Experience in developing for PC, mobile or console platforms
Previous leadership experience is highly desirable
