This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful indie games studios. 

Amiqus have partnered with a multi-platform developer, based in Leeds, to help them with their search for a Lead Games Programmer to join their expanding team. 

Reporting directly to the Technical Director you will be responsible for defining best practice for the entire programming team.  

This studio have partnered with some the best known publishers in the industry and worked on several very high profile IPs and they are looking to continue on this upward trajectory. As the Lead Programmer here you will lead by example, mentoring and guiding the team below you to ensure technical excellence. 

We’re looking for real programming masters, your background will ideally come from console games development. 

Proficiency in C#/C/C++, with a minimum of 4 years experience.
Games industry experience (minimum of 3 years)
You will have worked on console titles for a minimum of 2 years.
One large game project.
You will have worked with Unity3d in a professional capacity.
You will have worked on a 3d Platformer title previously.
You will have good communication skills.
Excellent problem solving abilities.
