Amiqus have partnered with No Brakes Games, who are looking for a Lead QA to join them, as they embark on creating their next game.

Built on the phenomenal success of Human: Fall Flat, a new studio has been established in Tenerife where they are now looking for a QA Lead with prior experience in a QA position testing for games across multiple PC and Console platforms. 

Responsibilities 

  • Defining the QA processes and best practices for the game 
  • Training, mentoring and leading other internal QA staff 
  • Managing external QA teams 
  • Finding and reporting issues across multiple platforms 
  • Ensuring that the bug database is maintained and updated 
  • Creating and maintaining test plans 
  • Communicating and collaborating with other disciplines  
  • Producing regular reports for the team and the publisher 
  • Co-ordinating and reviewing feedback from playtests 
  • Supporting production as required 
  • Ensuring the quality of our games remains high 

Requirements 

  • Experience as a QA tester on PC or Console games 
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining test plans 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proactive and supportive attitude 
  • Self-organised and strong ability to prioritise 
  • Experience of bug tracking databases 
  • Experience of source control such as Perforce or Github 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Fluent in English 

Nice to have 

  • Experience with Unity 
  • Knowledge of Steam workshop
  • Skills in other disciplines, such as level design or 3D art
