Are you a Games UI Artist looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience of integrating UI for at least 3 shipped console titles? Would you like to work for an industry leading games publisher with a rich heritage in innovation? 

Amiqus have partnered with a London Studio, who is looking for a passionate experienced Lead UI artist to join an exciting team working on innovative interactive experiences designed for broader audiences. 

We are looking for a lead UI artist who can own the end to end process of concepting, creating and integrating all visuals. You should be the kind of person who loves a challenge and push yourself in the pursuit of excellence.

This is an essential role within an exciting new team and suitable only for the open-minded and creative UI/UX Specialists. This is a position for someone whose actions aren’t defined by their experience or industry expectations, but by their desire to pursue exciting new opportunities for an audience underserved by the games industry of today.

The role;

  • Work with the principle designer to define the UI concept
  • Design a strong visual style and direction
  • Work with designers and engineers to ensure delivery of vision and engine appropriate assets
  • Use proprietary tool sets to integrate and tweak assets in game
  •  Develop a range of UI concepts that push the envelope of what audiences expect
  • Get sign off from project leads 
  • Create and integrate UI assets
  • Own the end to end development and integration of all assets
  • Implement user testing feedback
  • Finalise and polish assets to a high standard

Requirements for the role;

  • Hands on experience integrating UI for console development 
  • Shipped at least 3 console titles

It would also be useful if you have any of the following;

  • Keen interest in cinema
  • Graphic design background
  • Interest in photography
  • Experience developing on PS4, Unreal Engine and Perforce
  • Experience working with proprietary tools
