Are you an expert Unity user? Could you lead a small team of capable coders? Do you want to work on new, original, IP?

We're partnered with a growing and successful mobile game developer based in Cirencester. They have been around for 6 years and have worked on some fantastic mobile games, some premium and some Free2Play model. You will be leading a small team of developer, who will be working across multiple projects. This role is hands-on though and you will be expected to be coding most days. You will also be responsible for conducting code reviews and setting standards. 

The studio is friendly, laid back and successful. They pride themselves on having a mature and trusting environment where family and quality of life rank highly. The studio itself is actually in an old converted museum on the edge of a stately home's estate, its fantastically unique. The studio is based in Cirencester, which offers a superb country living environment, all still with easy access to southern motorway networks and cities including Bristol and London. 

To be considered for this role, we'd like to see:

  • Unquestionable technical skills, specifically with Unity C#. Other engines and languages are useful
  • Brilliant understanding of the full game development cycle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Recent exposure to mentoring/managing junior candidates
  • Passion for games
  • Located in, or able to relocate to Cirencester or nearby
