This is a unique opportunity to be among the first 20 employees of an industry changing company. These guys have recently secured our Series A investment from leading investors in companies such as Facebook, Dropbox, Supercell and KING - the largest series A in our industry in recent years.

The studio are creating next generation mobile multiplayer games that can be played in 4 minute sessions. Their first game Forces of Freedom (think “World of Tanks” crossed with “Socom”), has already attracted more than 10 million players in Early Access and is evolving into a genre defining entertainment product to be enjoyed for the years to come.

The studio are a mix of games industry veterans, unique talent and renowned field experts that share the same level of passion and ambition. As a freshly funded Series A company they are able to provide growth opportunities in a bureaucracy free environment to both talented and experienced individuals.

About the role:
You will create meaningful combat  arenas that facilitate unique and innovative tactics and teamwork focused game play - from concept to fully laid-out and polished state,you will work hand in hand with an experienced mobile 3D multiplayer Art team and the game designers.  

The combat arenas are inspired by real world theatres spanning the last six decades, from Vietnam to the ‘Highway of Death’ in the first Iraq war to more recent conflict settings.

You will have access to the studio's extensive international combat veteran and historian network to get the settings right, and will be supported by a highly experienced 3D art team. 

To be considered for this role, we'd like to see: 

 

Broad interest in and passion for game design across platforms (mobile, PC/console, tabletop/board games) and genres (strategy, FPS/shooters, miniature wargames, etc) 
Experience in level design, ideally having worked on at least 1-2 shipped titles
Experience with Unity 3D engine
Ability  to work in a team environment and be based in their Shoreditch studio.
