Are you a talented level designer with a background in working on Isometric games? We're working with humble but talented team in Brighton to help them grow their design capability. They have recently signed a new IP, the game is in pre-production; so you'd be joining the team right at the start.
The game is based on a huge Television IP, the show is world renowned and well-known. It has a real-life art style with mature and adult themes. Although you'd be working closely with the IP holder, you'd have a lot of creative freedom around the look and feel of the levels.
The studio is based in Brighton, but this role can be a remote based position. They do ask that at the start of the contract you'd work from the studio for a week or two, then return to the studio 2-4 times a month. Accommodation would be provided.
The role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract, you would be treated and have the same benefits as a permanent employee.
To be considered for the role, we'd need to see:
- Strong background in game design - ideally on at least one shipped title with Isometric levels
- Genuine, long term, passion for games and game design
- Ability to work remotely - so a designated work-space and good internet & PC/Laptop
- Good communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with a multi-disciplined team
