Amiqus have partnered with a AAA console studio based in St Petersburg, who are currently looking to bolster their ranks and require an experienced Lighting Artist to help work on their new console title.

The Studio were formed by a range of key figures in the games industry, and over the years have built an experienced International Team over multiple worldwide sites.

The studio have released some of the biggest games on console and PC platforms and have worked with some of the biggest studios in world on a range of projects. This role will focus on you working on an existing franchise, which has earned high praise and acclaim. 

As the Lighting Artist you will work closely with the Art Director and Lead Level Artist in defining the vision of the title. Your primary role will be to design lighting systems that will support the atmosphere and gameplay effects for a game that heavily relies on mood and realism. 

The ideal candidate will be someone who craves to own a large area of the project and have their ideas implemented into the game. 

This is a great opportunity for a Lighting Artist to really make their mark on a new project and be accredited for a reputable AAA franchise.  

Requirements 

  • At least 2 years’ experience as an Artist in the games industry 
  • Strong experience with Lighting and published at least one console/PC title as a Lighting Artist 
  • Extensive knowledge of Lighting techniques, colour and image composition 
  • Experience with Photoshop and 3DS Max or Maya
  • Good attention to detail
