Do you have a background in Marketing, PR and Game publishing? Do you want to join a growing indie developer and publisher? Can you manage a small team of marketing professionals?
We're partnered exclusively with a growing Indie Developer and Publisher; they have around 20 in their studio at the moment, but this hides their amazing work output; they have X3 games in development and a publishing schedule of ten other titles this year alone.
Thanks to recent success, the studio now want to expand. They want to bring in experts in their field who will then in turn grow and develop teams in their area of expertise; in this instance its marketing. This role covers all aspects of Marketing, PR and Communications. It will see you initially review and change their current output; you'll then implement and execute long term marketing strategies for individual launches as well as the studio brand itself. You will immediately begin growing a team of assistants.
To be considered for this role, we'd like to see:
- Recent experience in a multi channel marketing role within the games industry
- Strong exposure to the publishing side of video games
- Good, in depth, understanding of brand
- A good network of connections within games, including agencies etc
- Ability to mentor and train junior members of the team
- Clear and confident communication style
This role is a unique opportunity to make a role your own; you can implement the processes and strategies you may have elsewhere been denied. The studio are friendly and avoid crunch, but are also driven, hard working and knowledgeable. The studio is based in Central London. Salary and benefits package can be tailored to you, but initial thoughts on salary are between £45,000 - £70,000
