Amiqus have partnered with an exciting studio based in Hertfordshire who are looking to hire a talented Marketing Manager to join their growing team.

The studio is currently working on a brand-new console release, which brings together a vast collection of retro games. This position will offer you the chance to work with these titles, new releases and also the opportunity to work with something new and exciting, which has gained positive traction with the games press outlets. 

As a member of the Product Marketing team, you will be working closely with the developers and helping them plan their future releases. Other responsibilities include talking to internal PR, Social Media and Product Teams to help get ‘the word out’ on these exciting new releases. The position comes with a lot of influence in the studio as you’ll be directly interfacing with all sides of game development, from sales, retail, development and media, also having a huge say on the Marketing Strategy of the business and the budgets around this. 

The role will offer you a fast-paced environment in a fast-growing studio with games that have attracted a huge base of players. You will also be involved with the product launch of new upcoming titles and help evolve their main product.  

You’ll also get the opportunity to attend worldwide events and liaise with their existing Marketing Team to uphold a positive brand and PR for the studio. This role is remote working initially (you must be UK based at present for future meetings) with a view to work on site permanently when it’s safe to do so.

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a Product Manager, Marketing Coordinator/Manager role or similar position 
  • Experience in either an in-house or agency marketing position where launching new products was frequent 
  • Games industry experience is a massive bonus 
  • Ability to interface with clients, consumers and media 
  • Excellent customer facing and writing skills 
  • Highly approachable and a good ability to network
  • An avid player/fan of retro games
