Greenfield opportunity for a Marketing Manager, ideally from a mobile background, to join this Nottingham based developer and create and manage their marketing function. Role can be performed onsite in their Nottingham studio or remote (UK only)
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with stakeholders and managerial team to develop marketing strategies and execute campaigns.
Create exciting, targeted campaigns across all forms of digital media.
Analyse social media campaigns, report on their impact and performance and strategise on how to improve them.
Establish best marketing practices and advice on current and future marketing trends.
Conduct SEO optimization and improvements.
Optimise game store pages.
Monitor and tune game keywords.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
MUST have a proven track record, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant marketing experience, with at least 1 year in either video-games, or consumer facing mobile applications.
Ability to concept and execute engaging marketing campaigns in a digital space.
Keen attention to current marketing trends - what’s attracting and engaging users.
Strong knowledge of competitor titles and their promotional activations.
Proficient with paid digital advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads and other similar social media.
Ability to identify potential media buying opportunities/growth channels.
Ability to statistically measure campaign success.
Proficient in English, written and verbal communication skills.
Able to travel within the UK and overseas as required.
Passion and drive to thrive in a dynamic team.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
MAJOR PLUSES
Have a varied portfolio of work across a number of industries.
Marketing Degree, or similar level qualification, or equivalent experience.
Experience with marketing campaigns within the Fashion industry.
Ability to create art assets in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or other similar software.
Experience with CRM Marketing analytics.
Have worked closely with bloggers and influencers.
Familiarity with an Agile based development process.
A passion for games and technology.
