Amiqus have partnered with industry leading AAA publishers, to help them find an experienced Mobile Marketing Manager to take responsibility for developing, implementing and executing global marketing plans for the whole mobile games portfolio. 

Their company has succeeded over the last few years in setting up and developing their business across the EMEA region. They are the market leader in the Japanese animation segment, they successfully develop historical and new franchises and they publish and distribute for major video game companies.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Defining the product branding, positioning and overall marketing strategies for the whole mobile games portfolio across all touch-points
  • Leading consumer and market research studies to help define marketing strategies (branding, positioning, etc.) in coordination with central marketing teams
  • Driving creative content development for internal and external communication across relevant platforms and channels (community management, press relations, newsletters) with the support of marketing teams and in cooperation with US, EMEA and Japanese counterparts 
  • Developing marketing calendars and sharing them with internal teams and external partners
  • Directing and overseeing community management operations
  • Briefing and interface with communication, marketing and advertisement agencies   
  • Reaching users through marketing and promotional campaigns liaising with central marketing teams (CRM)
  • Working closely with platform partners (Apple, Google, Facebook, etc.) to drive promotional strategies and featuring opportunities; building and maintaining long-term relationship with them
  • Driving input on KPI targets for user acquisition, engagement and retention for existing and upcoming products in cooperation with the User acquisition manager
  • Delivering ongoing product marketing analysis and making recommendations to continually refine marketing strategies 
  • Regularly presenting and reporting to management and key stakeholders on marketing strategies, plans, ROI and improvements
  • Monitoring key trends in the mobile game industry 

Experience and Qualifications required;

  • Bachelor to Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline
  • Experience in the video games industry, preferably dealing with mobile Free-to-play games   
  • Experience in the video games industry in product/brand marketing, social media, ecommerce or consumer marketing is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with external agencies (budget management, hitting ROI goals, coordination and briefing)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment 

Knowledge and Skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Definition and evaluation of ROI of digital marketing initiatives
  • Design and execution of innovative marketing programs in the video games business that generate results
  • Good knowledge of mobile & web games development lifecycle (concept, development, soft launch, global launch and live operations)
  • Strong budget-management skills
  • Fluent in English mandatory
