A Newcastle based VR studio are looking for a Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor to work on their award winning VR software.

The technology has been renowned in different sectors and allows users to create and customise models, with an added bonus of bringing them to life using Kinect and Oculus Rift. The studio have been recognised nationally winning high profile awards and have featured in the UK’s top 50 innovative companies and in the top 100 start-ups nationwide. 

The studio have already established themselves in retail, commercial, exhibition and automotive industries and are looking to impress other industries with their technology. As a member of the Marketing team you will be responsible for editing and creating video content/trailers for marketing materials for a range of the studios products.

The role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment and likes working on a variety of projects. You will Capture 3D footage and edit this to enable a realistic ‘Hollywood’ look and feel to each project you undertake, from concept to completion. Liaising with Marketing and Production teams, you will creating cutting edge videos that will be used on a global platform at International events and key meetings with clients.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Video Editing/Motion Graphics role 
  • Experience with After effects, Premier or Final Cut Pro
  • An expert with Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • Ability to work to deadlines A portfolio/website displaying a mixture of trailers, adverts and motion graphics work (the more variety the better!)
