Senior Network Developer C# .NET with low level expertise to work with this London based, investment backed company who are developing an immersive (VR/AR), collaboration platform for enterprise.

This SDK is now commercially available and being utilised by large OEM’s to provide collaborative, immersive solutions for world class enterprise teams. You’ll get to work on a product that will help these international teams build the next generation of vehicles, space rockets or collaborate on the next big medical breakthrough.

As part of the team you can expect to:

Maintain and extend a custom networking API for VR/AR product.

Solve a wide variety of challenging networking and architectural problems

Work with a multi-talented team that focus from the top down, driving all feature development from the design vision, the user & the new opportunities that VR/AR provides.

Your background -

Must have experience designing networking protocols.

Experience in API first design.

Experience with SSL e.g https.

Excellent understanding of TLS, networking experience other than HTTP and time critical messaging.

Assist other developers with latency-aware feature design and implementation.

5+ years commercial working experience in C# and .NET 4.5 or better.

Experience and familiarity with working practices such as Agile, Lean, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable industry experience.

Passionate about VR & AR technology.

 

Bonus points but not essential:

Experience in enterprise networking environments.

Experience developing 3D multiplayer games.

Familiar with Google protocol buffers.

Experience working with a CDN.

Experience in C++ (with focus on OOP), Lua & other embedded scripting languages.

Good understanding of 3D math.

Experience developing VR/AR applications.

 

Salary is to £65k plus Share Options.
