Amiqus have partnered exclusively with an entertainment industry leader with a presence in video games, toys and amusement parks. The company is known worldwide for its successful video games franchises and are opening a brand-new office on the beach in Barcelona. They even have views of the Sagrada Familia - sounds idyllic hey?! 

They are seeking an Office Manager to join the company and to take part in the set-up of the new office and management of the team onsite.
As a key partner to the business, the Office Manager will be responsible for driving the move into our new building and for running the day-to-day life in the office, while ensuring the best experience for our employees.
On a day-to-day basis, the Office Manager will partner directly with all employees
Your main duties will be as follows:

  • Overall, ensure a smooth running of the office and happiness of the team
  • Maintain a clean and productive office environment
  • Manage the relationship with office suppliers
  • Manage the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and furniture/decor to optimize workspace
  • Complete administrative work related to the office and the team
  • Coordinate employee relocation and working permit for new hires from outside EU
  • Organize internal and possibly external events (meet-up, team building…)
  • Track and manage building access for employees and contractors
  • Implement and maintain security and safety procedures to meet required codes and regulations
  • Meet and Greet external visitors
  • Be a cultural ambassador: actively contribute on creating positive energy and enthusiasm around the office
    What do we need from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Nice to have but not mandatory)
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role (ideally in the Entertainment, Gaming or hi-tech space)
  • Strong knowledge in Facilities Management
  • Proven track record in managing various administrative tasks at the same time
  • Analytical and problem-solving approach
  • Ability to handle various pressure situations and workload through proper work balance and prioritization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Diplomatic and service-oriented individual
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated & autonomous and proactive team player
  • Positive and friendly attitude
