As Milky Tea’s Player Engagement Manager the main responsibilities are:

 

  1. Building relationships between Milky Tea and the people who play our games.
  2. Creating desire for our games so that we launch to a highly engaged audience who are hungry for our content at launch and after.
  3. Being the voice of the player in the Milky Tea studio, engaging with the community, finding patterns in the feedback, and confidently delivering this to the development team.

 

Primary Aims and Objectives

 

  • Devise a player communications strategy for HyperBrawl Tournament to include:
    • Channels – tactics & engagement targets for each channel (including social and mailing lists)
    • Content/Asset plan – created in conjunction with studio
    • Timeline to launch
    • Action plan

       

  • Create Milky Tea community guidelines to include:
    • Milky Tea Core Values
    • Tone of voice
    • Best practice for type and cadence of posts/channel
    • Sample posts

       

  • Deliver and distribute first assets for HyperBrawl Tournament. These may include:
    • Studio tour video/ Team interviews
    • Blog/Steam posts
    • 1st Play video guide to the game
    • Let’s Play Videos
    • Newsletters
    • Press Releases

       

  • Execute your community management strategy to start building a substantial ‘head of steam; for the release of HyperBrawl Tournament’.

     

  • Create and execute a PR & Influencer strategy that complements activity by external PR and influencer agencies

     

  • Establish a customer relations strategy, putting in place feedback channels and processes within the studio (using existing studio systems)

     

  • Identify, evaluate and attend any consumer focused events locally or otherwise to host tournaments and events around the game. Assist in planning these, in conjunction with the rest of the team.

     

  • Establish a monthly reporting regime for social channels and community activity. Compile and distribute reports beginning at the end of June 2018.
