Are you a Project Manager or Producer with a good background within Games? Are JIRA, Scrum and Agile all in your daily vocab?
We're working with a growing and successful mobile games studio based in Finsbury Park in London; they're working on several high profile service based mobile games and applications; this role will see you reporting into the Director of Production and being responsible for a large project.
You will work project manage a variety of projects, they will be different sizes, length and budget so you can expect to be kept busy and engaged. The team has a really good vibe; the team are creative, hard working, earnest and collaborative. You'll enjoy working there.
As well as recent PM or Producer experience, we will be looking for:
- Passion for games! (of course)
- Eye for detail - this is a complex project management role and people thrive in the role who are very detail focused.
- Interest in client facing - They have a very varied client list and the studio want people who are inspired to use their knowledge of games and apply them to new situations and environments
- High emotional intelligence - Their work is for clients who can be demanding! Managing clients is about empathy for their concerns.
- Calm under pressure - Juggling projects and managing that within the confines of a busy studio is not without its challenges. Being calm is a good start. They don't 'do' drama at this study; so people who thrive are people who work collaboratively and problem solve their way out of challenges.
As well as working on cool games with talented people, there are also a few other reasons to join this company:
- Good work life balance! They leave the office on time the vast majority of the time
- In terms of job security, this studio is well placed to deliver this as part of a 300 person group.
- 20 days of holiday per year (increasing to 25 in the second year)
- Group Pension scheme
- Life Assurance (4x annual salary)
- Share save scheme
- Discretionary bonus scheme
- Healthcare cash plan (for contact lenses, osteo, dentist etc up to a limit)
- Travel loans (for upfront purchases of annual passes etc)
- Childcare vouchers
- Access to Perkbox for discounts on restaurants, car rental etc
This really is a fantastic opportunity, and one I'd encourage anyone with some recent production experience in the Video Games industry to apply for.
Salary, package and relocation is all negotiable and will be based on personal circumstances and experience.
