Interested in working with one of the worlds most loved games publishers. This is an opportunity to join one of the most recognisable names in the video games industry as they look to build a new marketing function based in Europe.

 

Position Overview

Working within the European Business Team, the role is expected to take ownership for all the company’s products and product communication within the Europe structure.

The role will work closely with other teams within the company in order to represent and promote the presence of the franchises and products with the assigned distributers & partners across EMEA.

It will also be the responsibility of the Product Marketing Manager to plan, deliver and execute clear marketing plans for all products under their jurisdiction within the EMEA market hitting pre-set objectives.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ideally a Marketing or business degree and 3 years Product Marketing experience, preferably from within the games industry or the wider entertainment industry
  • Must be detail oriented, possess good time management skills and be able to prioritize in a changing environment
  • Demonstrable record of delivering marketing elements to a quality level, by planned dates and within agreed budgets
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Strong appreciation of publishing and broad, in-depth and up-to-date product knowledge of the mainstream games industry is preferable
  • Excellent presentation skills, to all sizes of audience
  • Able to build and maintain strong professional and informal relationships within organisations and externally with members of the public
  • Knowledge and understanding of current media trends, both within the specialist gaming environment and wider
  • Strong level of creativity across marketing plans and elements
  • Pro-activeness to think ahead and identify tasks that need to be carried out and the motivation to complete these on own initiative
  • Flexibility to react quickly, reschedule and prioritise workload
  • Knowledge of the key European markets and distribution channels is highly desirable
