Amiqus are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join a London based studio who are working on some very exciting titles for well known IPs.
As part of this role you will create the marketing strategy and product launch strategy for a number of franchises and key titles. You'll be accountable for planning and delivering profitable, impactful global go-to-market strategy from initial product concept to final marketing execution and product lifecycle management.
This is an interesting blend of small development studio and outlook, but founded by industry veterans and well-established players. Their external CMO worked at PlayStation, Disney, Syco and Viber and is available to help mentor the role. Within the main team you also have experienced marketeers from agency side, who have helped to successfully launch high profile consoles and IP’s.
As part of the sales & marketing team you will be at the interface between award-winning development teams, players and business customers, shaping the product roadmap, setting global go-to-market strategy, leading global communications, managing digital distribution and steering their sales and marketing partnerships around the globe.
They need someone who is not afraid of handling platform relations, managing their external agencies, setting and delivering on plans, but also whom is not afraid to get their hands dirty with implementation.
Responsibilities
- Building and managing a portfolio of games and experience to deliver financial success
- Leading the development of product marketing and go-to-market strategy for games
- Architecting high impact marketing campaigns and creating high-quality marketing assets that drive outstanding reach and positive product recognition and engagement
- Developing strong relationships with development teams, licensors, brand partners and platform holders
- Setting marketing KPIs that improve user experience, acquisition, engagement, retention and referrals
Key Skills & Experience
- Able to work across different teams
- Demonstrable experience in product marketing, brand management or growth in video games industry
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid understanding of the marketing mix with a specialism in at least one area
- Passionate and knowledgeable about video games and popular culture
- Self-starting, entrepreneurial, go getter with a growth mindset
- Analytical, well organised and able to work well under pressure and deliver against deadlines as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
