Project Manager


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a fast-paced and creative environment working with one of the video game industry’s most successful and well-respected audio production companies.

As a Project Manager in the company’s Central London studios, you will be responsible for everything from indie mobile games to AAA console titles – using quick thinking and problem solving to ensure the smooth running of dialogue production from casting to delivery across multiple projects.

They are also very active in the technology & digital media industries, working with a multitude of innovative clients from around the world that develop devices which are present in consumers everyday lives.


Key Responsibilities


Prepare dialogue production cost estimates for clients & manage the agreed budget
Assist the Casting Team with actor selection for auditions
Negotiate fees with acting agents & take first pass of talent agreements & vendor contracts
Prepare project schedules for recording sessions
Prepare recording scripts for actors, directors and studio engineers, along with any other essential assets required for the smooth running of the recording sessions
Prep recording studio teams about the production
Track the progress of the recording sessions throughout and adjust actor & director schedules accordingly
Handle script updates and changes and asset drops throughout the production
Track the progress of final audio assets deliverables by liaising with the Post Production team
Be point of contact for clients, studio teams and agents – handling all queries and issues
Ensuring clients feel welcome and comfortable in the studio – including occasionally taking clients out for lunch/drinks 
Work well with the Production, Audio and Post Production teams to react quickly to client requests and requirements while also planning ahead; and finding creative solutions for challenges presented along the way

Candidate Requirements
3 years’ experience in a role requiring a similar overall project management skill set, including quoting & budget management, multi-tasking & organization
Interest and/or experience in the games industry or immersive/ interactive media (VR, AR, IVR, etc), and/or performance, story & character
3 years’ experience in a role with responsibility for multiple budgets in excess of £50,000 each
Excellent client facing and internal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Both a self-starter, able to work alone as and where necessary, and a team player, able to pitch in at all levels to get the job done
Comfortable both taking instruction from senior members of staff and giving instruction to junior members of staff

Desirable

Experienced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, in particular of Microsoft Excel, ideally comfortable using formulas such as SUMIFS and COUNTIFS to produce stats in relation to dialogue scripts; and/or Coding
Experience with contracts, licensing, negotiating usage fees etc
