Are you experienced, Project Manager in the games industry? Do you have exceptional communication skills? Do you want to work with one of the industry’s top game developers?
We have partnered with one of the industry’s most successful games developers, to help them find a games development Project Manager to oversee production across multiple disciplines. Working with clients to determine high-level requirements and communicating regularly with discipline producers to ensure timely delivery within budget. Client engagement, visibility and satisfaction is fundamental to the role.
Responsibilities include:
- Production oversight on game development projects across all disciplines
- Proactively build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Facilitate initial kick-off meetings with key stakeholders and discipline leads
- Creation of project plans, cost projections, resource, and high-level schedules
- Ensure high-level project communication with key stakeholders is excellent, maintaining regular engagement and providing ongoing project status updates
- Regular communication with discipline producers and external vendors to discuss all aspects of the project: deliverables, schedules, cost projections, project risks, and blocking issues
- Communicate requirements to discipline producers and 3rd parties ensuring alignment with development roadmap and agreed objectives
To be considered, we would like to see the following experience and skills:
- Managing multiple projects and stakeholders
- Detail orientated, systematic and accurate by nature
- Strong written and verbal skills communication skills
- Well-organised and maintains high standards even under pressure
- Logical thinker and solutions-driven
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and ownership of your projects
- Waterfall and Agile software development practices
- Managing production pipelines ensuring successful product delivery
- Production pipeline tools, such as Jira and Hansoft
- Video game development
- Film/Video production experience beneficial
Offering a competitive London weighted basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 along with a fantastic benefits package.
