This vacancy has now expired.

We're partnered with a global services provider who cater to the games industry, they supply external support for QA, Localisation and infrastructure management. They are located across three continents and have over 600+ employees. They've set up their European HQ in Aldershot, and are looking to grow their brand further within the European Games market.

One of their first, and most important, hires is a QA & Operations Manager. This role will see you at the helm of their 40+ QA and Localisation Team, ensuring that man-power and resources are being managed effectively to exceed customer expectation and drive revenue. Furthermore, you will be working with the current UK MD helping him run the operations of the site so that you yourself will become the General Manager of this studio. The career path is already laid out, so will suit someone who is looking to step up from their current QA Manager or Producer role and ascend to a new level.

This position would suit someone who fully understands the QA and Localisation process, either from within a large developer/publisher or from a 3rd party QA provider. You will have a good grasp of man-management, resource planning and project management. For the right person this could be a career defining role.

We are looking for:

  • A long term QA background within Video Games
  • You've moved from hands on QA to QA management or Executive Production level
  • You are able to manage multiple teams and report to external stakeholders
  • You fully understand and believe the value of a good QA process
  • Confident communicator who can work with the existing management team
  • A genuine collaborator, someone who values long term team performance

This is quite a rare opportunity within the Games Industry. It's a new and different career direction, and one which you don't often see in the industry. You will be challenged, but also rewarded and you can already see the career path before you. You will also earn a generous benefits and salary package.
