We're working exclusively with a well established, independent, Mobile Game developer based in Leamington Spa. They've been working on games since around 2010 and their leadership team are made up of veterans of the industry. They've shipped two really successful titles so far, and continue to support them; they're also working on future projects. They've recently promoted a QA tester to a Producer role, so happily have a new vacancy.
This role could be done either remotely or onsite, or a happy balance between the two. They're a pragmatic and flexible employer, with one of the best attrition rates in the industry. People stay there because they're happy and feel valued.
In this role you will find, investigate and report bugs and defects in the game, and enter into a Bug Database. Based from a test-plan, conduct structured testing of all critical areas of the title in development. Liaise with the Development Team, providing information on bugs and be able to recreate the issues with the Development Team when required.
To be considered for the role, we'd love to see:
- In-depth knowledge of mobile games and their application.
- Basic understanding of game technology and production.
- Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of using Bug Tracking Software preferred.
- Must have at least 1-2 years experience of testing within a game development environment
- Collaborative and considerate communication style
This is a great role, you'd be working with a small but very experience team who will no doubt help you futher your own understanding and knowledge. As seen previously, there is a long term career path if that's what you're interested in.
Salary £20,000-£30,000 based on experience, the role can be remote and they offer a genuine inclusive, respectful and anti-crunch work environment.
This role will not hang around, apply today or get in touch for more information!
