This is a new role, borne out of the growth and development of the company.
Lead by the Senior Marketing Manager, the Release Manager will be part of a small talented marketing team, also consisting a PR & Events Manager, Video Content Marketing Manager, Social Media & Community Manager x 2, 2D Marketing Artist and Digital Marketing Manager.
The Release Manager will work across multi-disciplinary teams, and as such the postholder must manage relationships and co-ordinate projects between teams. The Release Manager plans release windows and the overall release lifecycle of games. Responsible for managing risks that may affect release scope, the postholder will also communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements.
Key Attributes, Skills and Experience:
- Strong project management experience
- Knowledge of global age rating bodies
- Excellent knowledge of the submission/release process for Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, PC Platforms and have successfully delivered multiple titles from concept to final release.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills which includes -
- the ability to communicate problems and understand the requirements of the development teams
- the ability to clarify and escalate relevant issues where level of risk is under-estimated.
- Leadership qualities
- The ability to devise good working practices and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A flexible and analytical approach in general
- A passion for the interactive games industry
- Experience in quality assurance.
- Experience and knowledge of the required communication procedures relating to all game development issues.

Please note, this role is offered on a yearly fixed-term contract basis initially.
