We're working with one of the UK's most lauded and successful outsource studios. They're growing thanks to long term and continued success working on numerous AAA titles. They've recently hired a Cheif Commercial Officer who is now looking for a Sales Manager to work alongside him. This role will see you managing the growing direct enquiries regarding the studio's services, plus you've be doing your own outbound sales, making new contacts. You'd be responsible for the whole lifecycle of a deal before passing it on to an account manager once the project commences. You'd ideally start moving the needle of the deals in terms of their scale, the studio would like to see bigger deals in terms of scope, value and timescales.
The role can be done from anywhere in the UK with some visits to their studio in the North West of England. They have a fun, inclusive and talented leadership team. The studio is well known for the quality and speed of it's work, as well as it's stable and experienced team.
This role would be ideal for someone with some experience of Video Games as an industry, maybe making your first or second career move.
To be considered, we'd love to see:
- You're a proven Sales negotiator and closer. You can influence decision makers
- You have good, natural, commercial instincts
- A recent work history from within the Games Industry, in co-dev, services, marketing or 'other' sales
- Collaborative and confident communication skills
- Passion for games
- Good understanding of the Game Dev lifecycle
- Able to attend industry events
This is a great role working with respected and respectful people. This role can be done from anywhere in the UK as long as you're able to visit the studio 2/3 times per quarter and attend Industry events
The role salary is around £40,000 plus a TBC commission scheme, plus benefits.
