Amiqus have partnered with an award-winning studio in Hove, with a track record in delivering awesome original games, for Console, PC and Handheld.

The team are now looking to hire an experienced Senior 3D Artist who is keen to create high quality, stylised art in a variety of areas within each game production.

Working with their Lead Artist, you will have responsibility for creating game assets, and will be comfortable turning your hand to a wide range of 3D game art production skills, from modelling, texturing, VFX, to lighting, shaders and look dev. As one of the more experienced artists on the team, you will also mentor the junior artists to continually improve standards and art processes.

The studio are in the unique position of having complete creative control of their own IP and the backing of a platform holder. This position is ideal for someone who is keen to have their ideas listened to and will enjoy seeing their own work highly visible within a finished product. It’s important that you are proactive, positive and care about creating high quality and fun experiences.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primarily responsible for creating games and bringing them up to the visual target.
  • Ensuring that all game artwork is produced to the highest possible quality.
  • Mentoring less experienced artists.
  • Assist the Lead Artist to define any art processes and pipelines to be implemented.
  • Working with the Creative Director to create uniquely artistic visuals with style and flair.
  • Working with the Producer to schedule art tasks



  • Served as senior or lead artist in a previous role.
  • Experience working on console, PC or mobile games.
  • Strong artistic fundamentals.
  • Comfortable with 3DS Max/Blender, Unity, Substance Designer/Painter, Zbrush, 3d Coat, photoshop
  • Excellent hard surface and organic modelling, look dev, lighting and scene setup.
  • Creating concepts, animation, rigging, VFX, shader knowledge, scripting a plus.
  • Ability to effectively itemise tasks and assign realistic time scales to them.
  • Able to take ownership over certain aspects of the game.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, helpful and positive demeanour.
