Amiqus are working closely with an ambitious and fast growing apps development studio in their search for a Senior Android Developer to join their team in the UK. They have several studios around the world and this role will revolve around developing exciting new features and improving stability for their primary app.

They’re a successful start-up building on 10 years experience, they’ve just shipped the newest version of the app which has revolutionised the look and feel of the product so it’s an exciting time to join! We’re looking for high experienced Android engineers so you’ll need to be highly motivated and adept in building clean, maintainable and extendable code for the Android platform.

Technical requirements:

Have a solid background in Android SDK Development using Java/Android Studio
Experience of OO Programming and design patterns.
Working experience on source code management tools (preferably git)
Familiarity with Android Material Design guidelines
A passion for making beautiful Android apps that are simple and easy to use.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and using issue tracking software such as JIRA is desirable.
