A fun, vibrant studio with a positive development culture in Malta are making a significant hire in Animation;

With a background in proactive and high quality Animation in games, you’ll work closely with established artists and production, to champion expert movements and animation cycles.

The Senior Animator will guide moment to moment gameplay for highly recognized characters of the industry, aligning artist and animation vision for projects across console, mobile and VR. 

Key responsibilities;

• Implement animation from initial concept through to Unity 3D and Unreal Engine integration;
• Design animation behaviour systems, constantly looking at ways to optimize performance and animation pipeline;
• Buy into art vision of games and ensure deliverance during complete life cycle of projects;
• Lead animation and manage outsourcing companies to produce best quality;

Key skills;

• Solid knowledge in Animation pipeline for successfully shipped titles;
• Thorough knowledge of Maya, Motion Builder, and other animation pipelines;
• Ability to quickly adapt to complex animation software and packages;
• Avid gamer – both playing and creating;
• Team player, ability and confidence to work well in a talented team, to make great games;
• 5+ years in Animation with at least 1+ years in AAA Senior Animation
