Senior Development Manager to oversee all of this studios titles in development to time and to budget. 

You will get to work with this studio formed by senior devs from Sony Liverpool, creators of Wipeout & Motorstorm. They now run their own studio of 40 people and are now undertaking their next phase of growth. They're very closely aligned with the platform holders and are known as technology innovators so they’re given the latest tech before it's even a whisper in the market. You will get to work on titles utilising this tech.

A key hire as part of this growth is an experienced Senior Development Manager to oversee delivery of all their games on time and to budget. You will be working with Game Directors on each project who are responsible for the quality and feature set.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Accurate Planning: In this role, you will be responsible for creating the full milestone schedule with the team, from the start to finish of the game.
  • Hansoft and Scrum knowledge – desirable
  • Successful Delivery: You will be responsible for tracking the team during the project to ensure that progress is clearly understood at all times
  • Pro-active nature: Obsessively focussed, and the driving force to keeping projects on track
  • Strategising: to react to changes within projects but maintain achievable deliverables
  • Experience: Should have shipped at least 3 games in a senior capacity
  • Communication: Can work face-to-face with Publishers and external stakeholders, as well as being able to motivate and drive the development team to achieve delivery
  • Personable nature: You should be popular around the studio, understanding each of your team members and ensuring everybody is motivated and happy
  • Submission process: A working knowledge of submission processes for platform holders

 

This will be an initial 12 month contract, onsite in Liverpool, with a strong possibility of renewal. Day rate is dependent on experience.
