Amiqus have partnered with industry leading AAA publishers, to help them find an experienced External Producer to manage the development of the product line-up of titles signed with development teams based in EMEA. 

Their company has succeeded over the last few years in setting up and developing their business across the EMEA region. They are the market leader in the Japanese animation segment, they successfully develop historical and new franchises and they publish and distribute for major video game companies.

The Senior External Producer will take responsibility for managing the development of the product line-up of titles signed with development teams based in EMEA: from inception to release and post-launch maintenance.
Keeping in constant contact with external developers, internal functional teams and publisher representatives as well as the Japanese HQ, in order to ensure diligent and effective management of their portfolio. This includes addressing concerns in a timely manner, maintaining all project-related documents and schedules at all time, as well as making sure project-related information flows is shared within BNEE, as well as with BNEA and BNEI.

Roles and responsibilities may vary depending on the project.

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Very strong initiative with a desire to learn and be challenged.
  • Adequate knowledge of the various technologies used in the video games development (First Parties, Unreal, Unity, Middleware, etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of product development and production cycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of consoles, PC, video games genres and their market. 
  • Strong project management practices (Waterfall, Agile) and software including Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to make presentations.
  • Ability to motivate teams and evangelize initiatives.

Experience and qualifications

  • 8-10 years of industry experience.
  • Experience coordinating product development efforts with functional teams, such as Engineering, Localization, Printed Materials, Quality Assurance/Certification, Public Relations, Sales, Finance, Operations and Marketing, throughout a complete
  • production cycle and across multiple studios.
  • Shipped at least two console titles, from start to finish, in a Producer position.
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, design, engineering, or related discipline required.

  • Location: LYON - FRANCE, or can be based from LONDON - ENGLAND initially 
  • Start date: as soon as possible
