We're partnered with a global, multi platform games publisher based in London, these guys specialise in the global scale-up of great games. They've enjoyed some fantastic success, and as a result are also scaling up their team in Soho, London. This role is a Senior Game Analyst, it will see you working directly with Development teams, using your insight to make better games. You can expect to be involved in:

  • Building models to predict the performance of games
  • Identifying the events you want tracked, and working with the engineering teams to implement these
  • Develop and reporting on game performance metrics – both player experience and commercial performance
  • Identifying areas where game performance is lacking or could improve
  • Formulating hypotheses on how they can improve player experience and game performance
  • Validating these with data and statistical analysis, including A/B testing

To be considered for this role, we'd love to see:

  • You have a keen understanding of what makes a good game, and you love using science and data to improve the player experience.
  • Excellent at communicating, organising and prioritising
  • You can communicate data confidently and succinctly
  • Are on your way to become a leader in your field, with a desire to lead and mentor other practitioners
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in game analytics
  • Highly skilled with SQL (also R or Python)
  • Deep understanding of mobile games and free-to-play market is a must
