Senior Game Designer

Amiqus are working exclusively with highly successful games developer in their search for a Senior Game Designer to join their growing team. They’re building on nearly 30 years of games experience and have recently signed contracts with some of the biggest brands in the world so it’s a hugely exciting time to join.

They’re looking for experienced designers who really understand how to capture a player’s attention with flawless design. You’ll be responsible for designing everything from initial pitch documents through to full game mechanics and systems. It’s a hands on role with leadership responsibilities so you’ll be expected to guide and mentor other designers within the team. 

They have a huge variety of projects to work on so there is are always new technologies and ideas to work with.

Requirements:
• Solid knowledge of the Unity game engine
• Exceptional experience in writing Game Design Documentation
• Excellent communication skills - previous experience in a senior or lead role is beneficial
• Understanding of UI/UX challenges
• A strong knowledge of game balancing, pacing mechanics and system design
• Experience in designing a variety of games is a bonus.
• Mobile games design experience is desirable
