A Liverpool based Games studio are currently looking for a talented Developer to work on a range of new titles on Console and PC platforms.

Founded by established industry experts, the team are made up of award-winning developers who have come from AAA backgrounds and have a history of releasing a range of high-quality games, some of which have been adored in the games industry.

This role can offer a chance to own quite a large area of the code development and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team. This would suit a generalist programmer who enjoys working in a flat structure, where they can get involved with different disciplines of programming and assist with rapid prototyping. If it relates to gameplay, interaction, player feedback or progression, then you will either have ownership of, or be contributing to these areas.

In return the studio can offer a competitive salary, flexitime hours, a generous holiday allowance, daily fresh food and drink in a fully stocked kitchen, extra annual leave for your Birthday and Summer and Christmas closures and annual games event attendance. Also, the chance to work with games industry veterans who have a great track record of delivering high profile successful projects.

This role is remote working initially with a view to work onsite when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if needed (you must be UK based already for the 100% remote working option).

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in the games industry
  • Skills with either C++ or C# (the studio use both)
  • Released titles on either PC, Console or Mobile platforms
  • Experience with multiple disciplines of programming such as gameplay, UI, tools etc
  • Unreal or Unity experience would be a bonus
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a studio who are working on several new titles, which you will have a hand in from start to finish. To apply please send your CV to will.hudson@amiqus.com
