Senior Graphics Programmer, C++, with 5 years and above development experience to join this Manchester based team of highly experienced coders providing code support to studios across the globe. 

This studio comprises a small team of experienced technical programmers providing co-development solutions to larger games teams looking to solve complex technical problems. They specialise in engine development, profiling and optimisation and are looking for a Senior Graphics Programmer who can use their wide experience of PC and console graphics APIs and techniques to support their clients.

Their current project is a major engine rewrite and will suit an experienced programmer wanting to work on cutting edge techniques and APIs.

Candidates will require:

  • 5+ years experience working on AAA game engines, ideally with several shipped titles
  • Up to date knowledge of modern graphics APIs, including at least one console and DX12 or Vulkan
  • Strong understanding of modern engine design in C/C++
  • Strong understanding of modern graphical techniques, lighting and shadowing approaches, PBR materials etc.
