A Yorkshire based Independent Games studio are currently looking to expand their development team with a Gameplay Programmer, who will help develop a range of new titles in the works.

The team have been built with a strong AAA foundation, with a great track record of developing AAA standard games. Having already collaborated with some of the world’s biggest developers, the studio are now working on a range of new titles across all console platforms.

The gameplay programmer will get involved with a range of features for the studio, if it relates to player progression, UI, interaction, inventory management, bug fixing and player movement/controls, you will have ownership of these areas and a chance to work on multiple genres from stylised arcade games to more photorealistic console titles.

This role would suit a good generalist who likes to get involved with multiple areas and is a strong believer of creating fluid gameplay no matter what the genre. Also the studio can offer a career path to develop your lead skills by helping progress some of the junior members of the team and liaising directly with 1st party developers.
