Amiqus have partnered exclusively with a well-established Manchester studio as they search for a Senior Programmer to join their growing VR games development team.

Their commercial position is really strong after a partnering with a global VR development company so they’re really on the up-and-up!

They’re looking for a high-flying programmer with experience in developing high-quality, real-time solutions for mobile or PC platforms. You’ll need to have an in-depth knowledge of Unity or UE4 with skills in C#/C++ or Blueprints and a genuine interest in VR games development. 

The studio are building on a fantastic reputation established over 21 years of animation development for TV, advertising and VR/AR projects and new VR games projects will take them to new heights. You’ll play a significant role in building the team from the ground up and take ownership of your own work from start to finish – it’s the perfect opportunity for an experienced games programmer who is looking for a new challenge in VR.

I’d like to see:

At least 1 shipped title for mobile or PC platforms
Demonstrable experience in developing for the Unity or UE4 game engines
Deep knowledge of C#, C++ or Blueprints
Previous VR or AR development experience would be useful.
