Amiqus have partnered with a leading software developer in their search for an experienced Tools Programmer to join their ever expanding team in the North West.

The studio is involved in some really exciting projects across many sectors with a focus on the games industry and want to speak with ambitious and creative programmers

You will be directly involved in challenging projects, providing support to the full programming team in both team and solo environments. This means you will be responsible for: 

Reviewing code submissions from other team members 
Developing new internal and external tools for the team to work with
Porting old titles to newer formats
Resolving rendering, graphic or networking issues 

Individuals who have succeed in this role typically have: 

Exceptional knowledge of C++, C#, Java 
Good understanding of frameworks and tool creation
Proven experience in a studio setting supporting programming teams
A good portfolio with examples of tools development
A technological focus with a keen interest in getting stuck into challenging problems
