Senior UI Artist

Can you create modern, sleek and intuitive controls, menus and buttons? Are you passionate about making fun to play and visually stunning games?

We're working closely with the Director of UX at Ireland's biggest independent Mobile game developer. They have received over €20 million euros of investment and are working on an incredible Sci Fi IP, based on an instantly recognizable movie franchise. They are looking for a UI artist who will be working in a small tightly knit agile team of UI designers focusing on UI and motion animation. You will be led by a talented games UX/UI Director, with years of games industry experience.

Day to day, you can expect to:

  • Deliver intuitive and rewarding user interfaces to millions of players, for all new game features.
  • Design fully responsive user interfaces, that work seamlessly across multiple mobile devices.
  • Creating wow moments with rich UI animations and motion graphic skills.
  • Concept, create and validate UI designs (from user flows through to release).
  • Work closely with our Game Designers and UX Designers, to continuously evolve user flows.

 

To be considered for the role, we'd love to see:

  • Undoubtable UI experience in the Games industry. Experience working on on mid to hard core mobile titles would be perfect 
  • Free2Play mobile games experience is essential, you must have shipped at least 2 titles
  • Previous experience with motion graphics and animation essential - coming up with new ideas, not just for how the UI is done, but actually implementing how it’s animated.
  • Fluent in using Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects).
  • Genuine desire for excellent and visually stunning results. 
  • Passion for games
  • Based in, or able to relocate to - Dublin, Ireland.
