A Manchester based VR Development Studio are currently looking for a Senior Unity Developer to work on a range of new experiences on VR platforms.

They are currently working on a range of high-end VR experiences which allow users to experience fast-paced realistic scenarios, for educational, training or for treatment use. The technology allows users to experience a range of different ‘game’ modes and statistically breaks down their attempts using sophisticated VR technology.

This position can offer this developer a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team and in a fast-paced environment. This would suit a generalist programmer who enjoys a flat structure, where they can get involved with different disciplines of programming and assist with rapid prototyping.

The role will promote freedom in your work style and will allow you to be creative with your code in an open-plan environment, where ideas are commonly contributed, and everyone has an input on the project. If you enjoy working on Technology that is game changing and immersive, then we would be interested in hearing from you.

In addition to a great work life balance, the studio can offer perks such as an amazing pension, Cycle to work schemes and a generous holiday package which includes studio closures over Christmas. This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if needed (you must be UK based for 100% remote working due to studio meetings).

Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a Unity Developer position
  • Games or VR experience preferred, but candidates from other industries are welcome to apply
  • Experience with multiple disciplines of programming such as Gameplay, UI, Tools etc
  • Good working knowledge of C# and Unity 3D.
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions such as AWS would be a bonus.
  • Knowing who Messi and Ronaldo are is a distinct advantage.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an Established studio who are working on a range of new projects, which you will have a hand in from start to finish. To apply please send your CV to will.hudson@amiqus.com
