Amiqus have partnered exclusively with an entertainment industry leader with a presence in video games, toys and amusement parks. The company is known worldwide for its successful video games franchises and are opening a brand-new office on the beach in Barcelona. They even have views of the Sagrada Familia - sounds idyllic hey?! 

They are seeking a Talent Acquisition & HR Manager to help drive the development of the team onsite. As a key contributor to the business, you will be responsible for attracting, onboarding and developing the best international talents in a very competitive market. Remember – this is a brand new studio so the role will be hands on, with additional responsibility for talent development activities such as onboarding new employees and developing the team through training programs to make the studio a great workplace.

Your main duties will be as follows:

  • Work closely with hiring managers to define and qualify position requirements, create job descriptions, and implement proactive recruitment strategies
  • Manage the full end-to-end lifecycle recruitment process, including all logistics for arranging and conducting phone screen interviews and face-to-face interviews
  • Identify, map and engage with top talent in Barcelona and abroad in order to develop a pipeline of key future talent
  • Identify and study market benchmark of positions, offers and benefits
  • Build a strong network of recruitment agencies
  • Finalize positions including offer packages, reference / background checks 
  • Design, plan and execute employer branding activities
  • Deliver onboarding training to new hires
  • Provide career development support to employees in partnership with the leadership team (Includes training and Talent Management initiatives)
  • Provide relevant recruitment and talent KPI’s to the business

What do we need from you?

  • Degree in HR (preferable, not essential)
  • 5+ years’ In-house recruitment experience – ideally in the video game industry, but if not, let’s still have a chat! 
  • Relevant experience in Talent Development or in an HR Generalist/HRBP role
  • Proven knowledge in candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluation in an international environment
  • Ability to handle various pressure situations and workload through proper work balance and prioritization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English 
  • Passion for people / HR and ability to “connect & collaborate” with the teams
  • Entrepreneurial & autonomous mindset / Can do attitude
  • Good organizational skills, Analytical and methodical approach
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Energetic and humble individual
