Are you a technical artist/animator with a love of character rigging & skinning? Do you get a buzz from creating hyper realistic character movements for AAA games & films? Are passionate about new technology? If you’ve answered yes then Amiqus have the perfect role for you!

Amiqus have partnered exclusively with one of the UK’s most successful AAA developers as they look for a talented Technical Animator to join their growing technical art team. This studio have produced some of the most innovative and ambitious Console/VR games on the market right now and this role is critical to their efforts as they continue to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in character animation.

You’ll need to be skilled in Maya and have a good understanding of Python, MEL & UE4 Blueprints as well as the UE4 engine. You’ll be primarily focused on building quality character rigs but you’ll also have the opportunity to work on tools and pipeline development so it’s a superb generalist role.


  • A good understanding of the following scripting languages: Python, MEL, UE4 Blueprints
  • Art packages: Maya, 3DS Max, MotionBuilder, ZBrush, Substance Designer/Painter
  • A real enthusiasm for character rigging and skinning
  • AAA games or film experience is desirable but not essential
  • Any exposure to Cloth or Fluid Simulations would be a massive plus.
