A Manchester based VR Development Studio are currently looking for a Technical Artist to work on a range of new experiences on VR platforms. They are currently best in class in their field of high-end VR experiences, which allows users to experience realistic scenarios, whether this be educational, physical training or for treatment use.
This Technical Artist will work very closely with the Studio Founders and Creative teams and be involved with a range of tasks, from creating solid UI’s to go into a range of experiences. You’ll also work with animations of UI assets and work closely with the engine. The successful candidate will be able to implement and animate UI’s in Unity’s UI Editor, with a specific focus on generating high realistic experiences. Aside from this, you’ll also be key in bridging the gap between artists and engineers, ensuring an efficient art pipeline and optimised games. Also help develop tools to help streamline their development processes.

Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Artist on mobile or console games or VR experiences
- Strong Unity 3D experience and a good technical understanding of its features
- Experienced with Photoshop and Illustrator
- A portfolio demonstrating your artwork
- Additional skills in creating Animations would be a bonus
