A North East based Games studio are currently looking for a Technical Artist to work on a range of new titles on Console and VR Platforms.
The studio is renowned in the Console/VR industry for creating high end games and have continually set the bar in the market on both single and multiplayer titles.
As the Technical Artist you will collaborate with the current Art Director and develop tools to help streamline their development processes. You’ll sit between art and code teams to ensure pipelines are consistent and realistic with the brief and contribute to the general quality bar the studio is looking to achieve. The studio are currently working on two major box office IP’s giving you the chance to work with two of the biggest franchises in the world.
The role will complement someone looking for creative freedom and a chance to leave their thumbprint on a brand-new game, overseeing features from concept to completion.
Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Artist in the games industry on mobile or console games
- Strong Unity 3D experience and a good technical understanding of its features
- Good knowledge of one scripting language – Python, C# or Maxscript preferred
- 3DS Max or Maya experience
- A good working online portfolio showing your skills
