Amiqus have a wonderful opportunity for Technical Artists in the games industry – the studio live and breathe amazing gameplay and a player-first approach.

A studio of over 100 developers and 10+ years of experience – for a long time the studio has been at the bleeding edge of technology – getting the best out of current and upcoming hardware and softwares.

Challenges are numerous, and the studio champions a supportive environment conducive to great game development. Being the conduit between Art and Code means that your Tech Art prowess will have a real impact, and truly it’s a role you can define and shape as you evolve in the studio.

Key Skills:

• Experience working in games or VFX as a technical artist, or content creator;
• Knowledge of 3D modelling techniques and pipelines that integrate art modelling software into game engines;
• Material and Shader authoring/creation – via node-based or a language such as HLSL
• Technical content creation skills – including VFX, Rigging, 3D Modelling, Lighting, VFX, materials/shaders, LOD generation and more;
• Familiarity with a large engine such as Unreal Engine 4, Unity, Lumbreyard etc…
• Practical and balanced, a calm approach to resolving issues, ability to listen and empathise and see others’ perspectives; and
• Enthusiasm, passion, and creativity to create amazing games!
