Amiqus have partnered with an exciting games studio based in central London who require a Technical Artist with Unity Engine experience, to work with a small team on award winning mobile titles.

The studio have a long standing history in creating some of the most downloaded games on mobile platforms, which have been played and enjoyed by millions of players.

This Technical Artist will work very closely with the Creative Director and Lead Artist and be involved with a range of tasks, from creating solid UI’s to go into the game, animations of UI assets and working closely with Unity engine. The successful candidate will be able to implement and animate UI’s in Unity’s UI Editor with a specific focus on generating high quality mobile games. 

The role will complement someone looking for creative freedom and a chance to leave their thumbprint on a brand new game, overseeing features from concept to completion. The ideal candidate’s portfolio will contain good solid UI work, Unity experience and a bonus to your application if you have further examples of animations.

Requirements 

  • Experience as a Technical Artist in the games industry on mobile or console games 
  • Strong Unity 3D experience and a good technical understanding of its features
  • Strong UI experience   
  • Experienced with Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • A portfolio demonstrating your art work
  • Additional skills in creating Animations would be a bonus
