Amiqus have partnered with an exciting games studio based in central London who require an experienced Technical Director to lead a small team working on award winning mobile titles.

The studio have a long standing history in creating some of the most downloaded games on mobile platforms, which have been played and enjoyed by millions of players.

This Technical Director will work very closely with the VP of Technology and manage a small team of Lead Developers. You will be self-organised and be able to juggle managing a small team, while assisting with recruitment and code reviews. This role would suit a current Technical Director or a Lead Programmer who wants to get more involved with management.

As the Technical Director you’ll be involved with managing the tools and technology of future games, and get involved with decisions at an operational level. You’ll play a key figure in the setup of the studio, making strategic decisions on the development processes, such as leading the studios hiring plans and overseeing the quality of each project.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the games industry 
  • Past experience of leading teams
  • Released titles on console or mobile platforms 
  • Strong experience with Unity 
  • A good people person, approachable and confident with managing
